Semester II
This course
is designed to provide an introduction to the state and government in Sri
Lanka. It discusses Sri Lanka's modern political history from colonial to
present era. This course gives the main focus on the changes in the
constitutional governance of Sri Lanka and highlights the key features in Sri
Lanka's contemporary political system. It will enable the students to have an
introductory knowledge of Sri Lanka’s political dynamic. Through this course,
students would be able to understand the current political development in Si
Lanka.
