Welcome to the world of programming! As the Subject-in-Charge, I take this opportunity to get all my students on board for the course Fundamentals of Programming (MIT11053). This course intends to make students learn the basic programming skills using Java language. Starting with the introduction to programming languages the course moves on to teach students the latest version of Java and Eclipse IDE. Setting the foot with the creation of typical "Hello World" program, students will be learning variables and data types, decision making structures, loop structures, methods, arrays, error handling and basics of Object-Oriented Programming as well. As a novice for programming you are expected to do more practical and carry out more reading and search to get more on this interesting subject so that you can lay the foundation to become a pro in the world of programming.

As the Subject-in-Charge, I take this opportunity to get all my students on board for the course MIT 11033: Computer Applications for Office Environment. This course intends to train students to use Computer Application Packages to reduce the paper work and increase the speed and accuracy of day-to-day work and trains in the use of common application packages such as use MS Word as a Word Processing Application, create spreadsheets in MS Excel, design and develop presentations using MS PowerPoint.
